TAC Support Staff

Scott McDonald

Program Director

I joined the staff of Conferences & Institutes in 1999. As Director of the Technical Assistance Center, I work cooperatively with the Army Corps of Engineers, Construction Engineering Research Lab (CERL) in Champaign developing and testing software. I have developed courseware used in the software training courses, which I also coordinate and teach. I work with both developers and users of a series of engineering software systems to provide a flow of vital information in both directions.

I received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 1995 and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1998 from Albany State University in Albany, Georgia. Currently based in Colorado, I travel extensively, providing training and implementation assistance to a wide variety of software users, including airports, municipalities, military installations, private corporations, and consultants.

I am also a Ph.D. candidate in the field of Organizational Performance and Change at Colorado State University. My continuing academic endeavors will not lead me away from the field of Continuing Education, but will enable me to assist organizations in enhancing performance and managing change, something that Continuing Education seeks to accomplish at many levels.
